Steps Before Applying for PM Svanidhi Loan

Steps Before Applying for PM Svanidhi Loan

In a bid to boost the livelihood of street vendors who were badly affected during the lockdowns
imposed to restrict the spread of COVID-19 in 2020, the Indian government came up with the
PM SVAnidhi scheme. Unveiled as part of the PM’s Atma Nirbhar scheme, this business loan
scheme aims to provide working capital loans up to Rs. 10,000 with no collateral requirements.

With a maximum of 12 months, the loan tenor is also very relaxed, which makes it easy for the
vendors to repay the loan. That’s not all. Street vendors who avail this scheme can also enjoy a
cashback of ₹100 each month, provided they use digital means of transacting.
